Torlon® PAI

Torlon® polyamide-imide (PAI) is a high strength plastic with the highest strength and stiffness of any thermoplastic up to 275°C (525°F). It has outstanding resistance to wear, creep, and chemicals – including strong acids and most organics – and is ideally suited for severe service environments.

More Staying Power at Top Temperatures
For over 30 years, Torlon® PAI has been recognized for long-lasting performance in severe service environments and a distinct combination of properties.

KetaSpire® PEEK

KetaSpire® PEEK (polyetheretherketone) is one of the highest performing semi-crystalline thermoplastics available today. Produced to the industry’s highest standards, KetaSpire® PEEK offers a combination of superlative properties that allow it to replace metal in some of the most severe end-use environments.

More Design Freedom
KetaSpire® PEEK (polyetheretherketone) is one of the industry’s most chemically resistant plastics and offers excellent strength, superior fatigue resistance, and a continuous-use temperature of 240°C (464°F). Glass fiber-reinforced and carbon fiber-reinforced grades provide a wide range of performance options for demanding applications.

Veradel® PESU

Veradel® polyethersulfone (PESU) combines good chemical resistance with a high heat deflection temperature of 204°C (399°F), making it a good fit for baby bottles and other food service applications. This resin is also inherently flame retardant for use in electronic components and testing devices.

Amodel® PPA

When it comes to retaining critical mechanical properties in tough environments, Amodel® polyphthalamide (PPA) does more than survive, it thrives. Extreme heat? High humidity? Aggressive chemicals? They’re all in a day’s work for Amodel PPA.

Amodel® PPA Outperforms Typical Nylons
Compared to typical nylons, Amodel® PPA has higher thermal capabilities and is stronger, stiffer and less sensitive to moisture. It retains its excellent mechanical properties – including fatigue and creep resistance – over a broad temperature range in humid and chemically aggressive environments.

Udel® PSU

Udel® polysulfone (PSU) is a rigid, high-strength, semi-tough, transparent plastic that offers higher heat resistance and better hydrolytic stability than polycarbonate (PC). It retains its good mechanical properties when exposed to steam and other sterilization techniques.

Clear Performance Advantages
Udel® polysulfone excels in many fluid-handling applications and has successfully replaced brass in pressurized hot water applications for over 20 years. It exhibits low creep under a sustained load at elevated temperatures and can withstand continuous exposure to hot chlorinated water.

Radel® PPSU

Radel® polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) delivers the highest performance of our sulfone polymers, offering better impact resistance and chemical resistance than polysulfone (PSU) and polyetherimide (PEI).

High Heat, High Impact Performance

The high heat resistance and excellent hydrolytic stability of Radel® PPSU make it an excellent choice for hot water fittings and medical devices requiring repeated steam sterilization.

Radel R-7000 Series products are specially formulated for use in aircraft interiors and are in compliance with stringent FAA regulations requiring low heat release, low smoke generation and low toxic gas emissions.

Acudel® modified PPSU offers cost advantages for applications with less demanding requirements.
